Project Challenges
• ½” to 4” Settlement of drive lane for the gantry crane wheel paths was causing a safety hazard and was making it difficult to align their cargo
• Installation needed to occur during business hours without interrupting their operations
Design Approach
• Conduct DCP tests to measure relative soil density (indication was densification at -2.5’)
• Utilize EagleLIFT’s EL003 Polymer to densify soil, increase weight-bearing capacity, and lift pavement to grade.

Worked with Port of Oakland to identify the problem areas and adequately design a solution
Results
• Reduced Operational Impact
• Mitigated need to replace the pavement and extensive operational downtime
• Leveled Pavement
• Leveled pavement back to grade and fully restored use after 15 minutes of cure-time
