EagleLIFT Polymers
Key to our success is the polyurethane foam systems we use. Immediately after injection directly through the pavement structure and into the base soils, the proprietary low-viscosity polymer moves quickly into voids and weak zones in the soil mass. As reaction begins, the polymer expands and compacts surrounding soils before curing into a durable, stable, and long-lasting solidified support system for the structures above.
Characteristics
Our advanced polymer system, called Eagle Lift EL003, has been meticulously formulated and rigorously tested to ensure optimum performance in all conditions, including wet environments. Characteristics of the polymer system include:
- MDI-based polymer
- Excellent solvent resistance
- Superior mold and mildew resistance
- Hydrophobic/hydro-insensitive
- 200 degrees Fahrenheit maximum service temperature
Physical Properties
Physical properties of the polymer meet American Society for Testing and Materials standards. Average property ranges are:
- 80 to 100 PSI compressive strength, parallel to rise
- 2,400 to 3,200 PSI compressive modulus, parallel to rise
- 100 to 120 PSI tensile strength, parallel to rise
- 387 PSI flexural strength
- 13,502 PSI flexural modulus
- 90 PSI shear strength
- 677 PSI shear modulus
Curing of the polymer occurs shortly after injection. Average times are:
- 7-second cream time through equipment
- 14-second tack-free time through equipment
- 15-second rinse time through equipment
- Excellent solvent resistance
- Superior mold and mildew resistance
Polymer system performance characteristics include:
- Concrete Lifting
- Concrete leveling
- Joint matching
- Void filling
- Concrete under-sealing
