Project Challenges
• 140 linear feet of 30” storm drain was leaking at 90% of joints
• Pipe ran through 3 different residential properties
Design Approach
• A GRR Scan was performed to locate vertical and horizontal alinement of pipe
• Injection tubes were installed on both sides of each pipe joint for a total of 35 injection points
• A camera was placed through the pipe for verification of joint sealing
Project Support
• EagleLIFT worked directly with Alameda County to develop project specifications
Results
• Each joint was successfully sealed as polymer infiltrated the entire length of each joint
• Access polymer was removed from pipe upon completion
• Pipe was rehabilitated in a single 10-hour shift using EagleLIFT polymers for a fraction of the cost, time, and disruption of replacement
